The Cyclops Reef is an optional island that you can visit in the Great Sea. Although you can journey to the island for treasures and collectibles, it is not required to progress the main story.

Eye Reefs Become Hostile Later in Game

After visiting the Forsaken Fortress the second time, the ship cannons on Eye Reef Islands will activate and will shoot at you when you're passing by.

Use bombs to destroy the island cannons and sink the ships inside the reef. After destroying all the ships and cannons, a chest containing a special chart will appear on the island.
