The Bomb Island is an optional island that you can visit in the Great Sea. Although you can journey to the island for treasures and collectibles, it is not required to progress the main story.

Bomb Island Cave Heart Piece
Location: Bomb Island - F5 Destroy the boulder at the top of Bomb Island and jump into the newly revealed cave entrance. Place a curled up Magtail on the switch in order to open the door. Head to the narrow path on the left and jump onto the switch inside the hole. Walk back and head to the newly unblocked path to the right. Throw Magtails onto the switches to lower the fire surrounding the chest in the cave. Open the chest to obtain the Piece of Heart. |

Bomb Island Treasure Chart Heart Piece
Location: Bomb Island - F5 Open Treasure Chart #20 to reveal the location. Once you have arrived, pull the Piece of Heart up with the Grappling Hook. |

Bomb Island Points of Interest
Ghost Ship
The Ghost Ship will appear near Bomb Island when the moon's right half is dark.
Submarine
A submarine can be found within the F5 quadrant. Enter and defeat the Bokoblins and Rats inside. After the Bokoblins and Rats have been cleared, open the chest to receive an Empty Bottle and Rupees.
Although you don't need to defeat all the Rats to reveal the chest, a Rat can still steal the Rupees from the chest. It is better to defeat them before opening it.
Sea Platform
There is a sea platform in the quadrant that has a treasure chest containing a few minor rewards. Climb up the platform, defeat the enemies, then open the chest.
All Lookout Platform Locations
Secret Cave
Use a Bomb to destroy the large boulder on Bomb Island, then drop down into the hole to enter the Secret Cave. Use the Magtails to activate switches and reach the end of the cave to get a Heart Piece.
