How to Fight

The best way to deal with a basilisk is to ignite them using different means and attacking them from behind. You can do this by casting the Igni Sign or throwing a Dancing Star Bomb. If the basilisk takes flight, you can bring them down to the ground by hitting them with the Aard Sign or a Grapeshot Bomb.

What Preparations to Make?

You should use your Silver Sword and coat it with Draconid oil to deal bonus damage to them. Prepare some Grapeshot Bombs and Dancing Star Bombs to either bring it back to the ground or igniting it to give yourself an opening to attack it from behind. Drink a Golden Oriole potion incase you get hit by its poisonous ranged attacks.

Special Sign Effects

  • Aard - You can bring them down back to the ground by hitting them while they are flying.
  • Igni - If your Sign Intensity is high enough, you can ignite them and give yourself an opening to attack from behind.
