Use Sword to Clear Within 1 Minute and 30 Seconds
The Sword has the most firepower although it requires you to use it at close-range. Despite this, you can clear the boss fight within 1 Minute and 30 Seconds even without evolving this copy ability.
Use Ranger for No Damage Run
Most of Clawroline's attacks are close-range, making the Ranger ability a viable option to use when attempting to clear the boss fight without taking damage. Using this Copy Ability also allows you to complete the "Hit high-up Clawroline using Ranger" mission by attacking her while she's on the pillar.
Use Drill for No Damage Run and No Hovering Mission
Using the Drill Copy Ability prevents you from being hit by most, if not all, of Clawroline's attacks. Being underground instead of dodging or jumping can help you achieve the mission of not taking any damage and the mission of not hovering.
Do note that the Drill ability is not available in the stage itself and can be instead taken from Waddle Dee's Weapon Shop before entering the stage.

| Clawroline uses three basic attacks: scratching, diving, and rushing.Clawroline will start throwing knives and use a diving attack from the pillar when she has 40% health or less. |
Dodge Her Attacks and Keep Your Distance
Clawroline's attacks can be easily avoided as most of them are close-range. You can dodge her attacks by holding down the L or R button and moving the left control stick.
If you cannot dodge her attacks, you can keep your distance and move away when she performs a combo attack. You can also jump and float in the air to avoid her rushing attack.
Run to Avoid the Knives
When Clawroline's health is at 40% or less, she will jump on the pillar and start throwing knives. You can run from side to side to avoid getting hit by this attack.
Attack After Clawroline Dives from the Pillar
Clawroline will perform a diving attack that you can avoid by evading or jumping. Successfully avoiding this move renders her vulnerable to attacks for a short time. Use this opportunity to launch a series of combo attacks before she recovers.

Anonymous over 3 yearsMy recommendation is to use the sword with the final evolution the entire time. The dodge is the best and it heals you a small amount with each hit. It made the entire boss rush easier.
