Withered Deku Tree

Mother & Child Isle Deku Tree

After you clear the Forbidden Woods, one of the eight Withered Deku Trees appears on Mother & Child Isles. It can be found on the Child Island of the isles, which you can travel to normally.

Mother & Child Isles Merchant
If you have started on the trading side quest at Windfall Island, one of the Traveling Merchants will appear on the Mother & Child Isles. He can also be found on the Child Island of the isles.

Fire and Ice Arrow Upgrade

Fire and Ice Arrow Upgrade

You will need to play the Ballad of Gales to enter the Mother Island. The Mother Island cannot be travelled by normal means due to a large unscaleable wall surrounding the island.

The first time you enter the Mother Island, you will be welcomed by the Fairy Queen. She will give you a Bow Upgrade, allowing you to use Fire and Ice Arrows.
