Stalker Enemy Guide

The Stalker is an enemy from the Terminid faction in Helldivers 2. See the Stalker's locations, how to kill it, its variations, and basic information here!

Where to Find Stalkers

Sectors	L'estrade, Sten, Draco, Mirin, Umlaut, Orion
Difficulties	Easy, Medium, Challenging, Hard, Extreme, Suicide Mission, Impossible, Helldive

You can find Stalkers in any of the sectors and difficulties mentioned above!

How to Find Stalker Nests

If there is a Stalker Nest in the map you spawned into, Stalkers will continuously spawn until you destroy it. With this, locate it immediately in order to stop them from bugging and killing you!

• Step 1: Play in Easy or Higher Difficulty
• Step 2: Spam the Ping Function
• Step 3: Check the Compass
• Step 4: Go to the Stalker Lair
• Step 5: Close Off the Stalker Lairs

Play in Easy or Higher Difficulty

Stalkers will start to appear in Easy mode. If you are trying to find a Stalker Nest on purpose, we recommend joining missions in higher difficulties such as Medium and Challenging since they will have an increased chance of having a Stalker Nest.

Difficulty Levels Differences

Spam the Ping Function

Once you have landed on a planet, spam the ping function in different areas of your mini-map until it displays an orange square. Instead of spamming mindlessly, try locating the crater-like areas as shown in the image above and then ping it.

After several pings and you think that the planet does not have any Stalker Nest, quit the mission and then join another one!

Check the Compass

If you found a Stalker Nest on your mini-map, verify if it's actually one by checking your compass. It will show a spider icon if it is a nest.

Go to the Stalker Lair

After verifying if it is a Stalker Nest, go to its location. Once you are there, there will usually be two Stalker Lairs for you to destroy. Note that the lairs are infested with Stalkers so be ready before entering its vicinity.

Close Off the Stalker Lairs

To completely stop Stalkers from spawning, close off the Stalker Lairs by throwing a grenade or using a Stratagem such as the Orbital Precision Strike. If you have done this for the first time, you will earn the hidden achievement called Stalking is illegal.

Stalker Weak Spot Reveal the Stalker's Location Shoot Anywhere on Its Body Close Off Stalker Lairs

Stalker Weak Spot

Weak Spot	Shoot any part of a Stalker's body. Using smoke grenades or stepping on the eggs that release spore clouds will help you see Stalkers when they are invisible.

Reveal the Stalker's Location

As shown in the image above, the Stalker can almost become fully invisible. When this, try throwing a G-3 Smoke at it or utilize the eggs that release spore clouds to increase the Stalker's visibility!

Shoot Anywhere on Its Body

Thankfully, Stalkers are not hard to kill if you can hit them. Similar to the Hunter, they will fall quickly after several shots.

Close Off Stalker Lairs

The only way to actually defeat Stalkers is to destroy their nests. By doing this, they will stop spawning until the mission ends!
