Volcanic Activity is a Planetary Hazard that will make volcanoes spew out burning rocks that will set an area on fire upon impact. A way to avoid the burning rocks is to actively avoid them when falling down the sky.

Ion Storms	Ion storms intermittently disable Stratagems.

How to Avoid Ion Storms

Ion Storms is a Planetary Hazard that occasionally disables the use of Stratagems. There is no way to counter this Planetary Hazard and it is annoying since it may trigger during an instance where you really need to call down a specific Stratagem.

Tremors	Frequent earthquakes stun players and enemies alike.

Tremors are a Planetary Hazard that will slow everyone on a planet. There is no way to avoid Tremors and will just have to wait for it to die down!

Meteor Storms

Planetary Hazard	Description
Meteor Storms	Meteor impact the surface causing massive damage.

How to Avoid Meteor Storms

Meteor Storms are a Planetary Hazard that will cast down meteors on the planet you are currently in. When you are hit by a meteor rock, you will take damage and get knocked down.

Fortunately, you can see meteor rocks falling down the sky. So, you can try to actively avoid them.

According to the 1.000.100 Patch Notes, Planetary Hazards are environmental challenges that will appear randomly in a lot of planets. Planetary Hazards will not only affect players, but enemies too!

A Planet Can Have Multiple Hazards

A planet can have a Planetary Hazard and also Environmental Conditions like Thick Fog and Intense Heat. So, be careful when fighting for democracy!

All Operational Modifiers

Modifier	Effect
Atmospheric Spores	Map obscured by Bug Spores.
Orbital Fluctuations	Stratagem call-in time increased by 50%.
Complex Stratagem Plotting	Stratagem call-in time increased by 100%.

Operational Modifiers Explained

Operational Modifiers are meant to make missions just a tad bit more challenging. This can range from making it harder to use the map to avoid large enemy groups, as well as making it more difficult to rely on stratagems because of their extended cooldowns.
