Join the Same Lobby

While this works more as a temporary fix, players looking to play with friends can join the same public lobby to play together. Since missions can be found on the Galactic War table, players can find the same mission and play together, bypassing the need to be invited to a lobby.

Invite Through Steam

For players on PC, you can invite friends to join your party by inviting them through Steam instead of through the game. Keep in mind that you will need to have Helldivers 2 running in order to do this so be sure to launch the game beforehand.

You can invite friends though Steam by tabbing out to the Friends List, right-clicking on their name then inviting them to the game.

Wait for the Next Patch
