How to Go First Person Mode

How to Go First Person Mode

Press Middle Mouse Button or Right Analog Stick

To switch to First Person mode in Helldivers 2, press the Middle Mouse Button on PC or Right Analog Stick for PS5 while aiming down sights (ADS).

You can exit out of this view and back to third-person mode again by pressing the same buttons.

Automatically Set First Person View for All Weapons

You can adjust the Remember Aim Mode setting in the options menu to automatically set your aim mode to First Person view for all weapons. Specifically, you'll want to select the Global option, as this allows your weapons to use the aim mode that you last used (in this case, First Person mode).

Here are all the Remember Aim Mode options that you can use:

• Off - Aiming always starts in third person view aim mode.
• Global - All weapons use the last selected aim mode.
• Per Weapon - The last used aim mode is stored per weapon.

First Person Mode Advantages

Better Precision When Aiming

First Person view allows you to zoom-in on targets that are faraway from you and lets you aim more precisely at them. It also lets you use the scope attached on Marksman Rifles and Stratagems like the Anti-Materiel Rifle to pick off enemies from long-range.
