Deploy an Airstrike Stratagem

Helldivers 2 - Eagle Airstrike Explosion

Perhaps the easiest way to destroy outposts in Helldivers 2 is to call in an airstrike on them via Stratagems. There are numerous Airstrike Stratagems in the game, but the best one would be the Eagle Airstrike as it drops clusters of bombs in a single line, which ultimately destroys several buildings that are huddled up together in an instant.

Use Autocannon or Grenade Launcher

Helldivers 2 - Grenade Launcher on Bug Hole

The Autocannon and the Grenade Launcher are great support weapons to use to obliterate Outposts. When dealing with Automaton Fabricators, you can aim at one of the vents and shoot a rocket or grenade inside it to instantly destroy the whole facility.

For Bug Holes, simply launch a projectile/grenade through the opening of these nests to completely seal them off.

Utilize Grenades

Helldivers 2 - Throwing a Grenade

The use of Grenades are probably the most accessible way to deal with Outposts, since you can use them anytime and won't have to call them in using Stratagems. Like the Autocannon or Grenade Launcher, you can plop in a grenade inside a fabricator vent or bug hole to destroy them.

We highly recommend using the G-16 Impact grenade as it doesn't have any fuse time and explodes immediately on impact, making it the fastest and most efficient grenade to use to destroy outposts.
