List of Contents
The newest Warbond is the Cutting Edge Premium Warbond released on March 14, 2024, as shown in this trailer.
The Cutting Edge Premium Warbond will feature new weapons, armor sets, and boosters for players to unlock using Medals.
Here's a list of known weapons, armor sets, and boosters to be included in the newly released Warbond:
Like the Steeled Veterans, the Cutting Edge Premium Warbond is also priced at 1,000 Super Credits.
Helldivers 2 Term | Game Feature |
---|---|
Standard Warbond | Battle Pass Free Track |
Premium Warbond | Battle Pass Paid Track |
Acquisition Center | Shop |
Medals | Standard Currency |
Super Credits | Premium Currency |
Superstore | Rotating Item Shop |
Like other games, Helldivers 2 has a shop system as well as Battle Passes, but with different terms compared to the typical ones that other games use.
In Helldivers 2, the Standard Warbond is the Battle Pass with items that are readily available from the start. The name of the Warbond is Helldivers Mobilize, and is the first thing you'll see when you open the shop.
Here, using your Medals that you earned, you can get cosmetics for your Helldiver, as well as new weapons and armor that are useful in gameplay.
The Battle Pass that you can unlock with 1,000 Super Credits in Helldivers 2 is the Premium Warbond. Originally, the only Premium Warbond available was Steeled Veterans, but more Warbonds will be released every second Thursday of the month.
Premium Warbonds are permanent, so they won't disappear after some time. With this, you can take your time farming Super Credits in order to purchase Premium Warbonds that were already released.
Unlike the typical premium Battle Passes that can only be gotten with real money, this Battle Pass can be purchased with Super Credits, which can be obtained by playing the game.
Like the Standard Warbond, Premium Warbonds also use Medals to obtain weapons and armor.
If you purchased the Super Citizen Edition, it automatically unlocks the Steeled Veterans Warbond. This allows you to save your Super Credits for Warbonds that may appear in the future.
Super Citizen Edition Content - Is It Worth It?
The shop in this game is named the Acquisition Center. You can access the shop by pressing the Acquisitions button while on standby in the ship.
The regular currency for this game are the Medals. You use them to purchase items in the Warbonds.
Here are the methods to obtain medals:
The premium currency for this game are the Super Credits. You use them to unlock the Premium Warbonds, as well to purchase items at the Superstore.
Here are the methods to obtain Super Credits:
The Superstore is a shop with an item rotation; every 48 hours, the set of items available will change. The items here are obtainable using Super Credits only.
The Warbonds' progression system is composed of multiple pages, with only Page 1 being unlocked and higher pages being unavailable at the start.
To progress the warbonds and unlock these higher pages, check the amount of medals you need to spend at the top right corner of a page, and spend those medals by buying items in the previous pages.
How to Farm Super Credits |
---|
|
The fastest way to farm Super Credits is to run missions on Trivial difficulty since enemies will be weak and the map will be smaller compared to higher difficulties.
Select a planet without Intense Heat since this Environmental Condition increases stamina drain. We recommend wearing some decent Light Armor to have increased speed and stamina regen.
Points of Interest (POIs) are locations on a map that may contain Super Credits and other loot. Initially, POIs will not be marked on your mini-map. But, they will pop-up once you are close to them.
If you see metal doors in POIs, don’t forget to throw grenades at them in order to obtain more loot!
If there is a radar tower, activate it to see the POIs on your map. Activating radar towers also gives about 50 XP which can help you level up as well!
To make farming Super Credits faster, you can opt not to extract and just quit the mission after looting all the POIs on a map. You will not lose the Super Credits you earned since they get credited to your account immediately!
