Winterhome is located northeast of New London (default camera orientation), just past The Gorge. After scouting the area, you'll need to make a path using trails from New London to Winterhome in order to send colonists.

Gather Workforce and Stockpile Resources

Colonisation of Winterhome requires massive amounts of resources and workforce. Accumulate as much as you can so New London can sustain itself with minimal supervision.

When you're ready, send colonists to Winterhome and get ready to start the next chapter.

FStockpile Resources Right Away

Use Hubs to stockpile surplus resources. If your stockpile is full, you can build extra Hubs to increase the stockpile limit!

Explore the Frostland for Resources

Explore the Frostland

The resources in New London are not enough for you to reach a surplus in resources. You'll have to explore the frostland for settlements and transfer the resources to New London.

You can get more Frostland Teams by expanding your Logistics Districts, as well as researching and constructing Logistics Bays under the Frostland tab.

Build Up Guard Squads

As you're stockpiling resources and exploring the frostland, try to assemble as much Guard Squads as you can if you haven't already. It's also recommended to pass the Guard Enforcers law under the Rule tab.

Guard Squads will play an important role in the following chapters!

Decide the Fate of Winterhome

Salvage or Settle in Winterhome

When the colonists arive in Winterhome, you'll need to make a decide between salvaging or settling in Winterhome.

If you chose to defeat the frost earlier, you should salvage Winterhome for its Cores. On the other hand, if you chose to embrace the frost, you should settle in Winterhome instead.

After making a decision, be prepared as most of your attention will be diverted to Winterhome past this point!
