Choice Outcomes and Consequences

List of Choices and Outcomes

Choice Outcome
Banish Opposing Faction ・Opposing Faction will be removed (population decreases).
・Requires you to set up a Colony for them to move to.
Seek Reconciliation ・Opposing Faction stays (No population decrease).
・Requires you to pass the Peace Accords law before the time limit (needs at least two thirds of all delegate votes).
Enforce Order ・Opposing Faction stays (No population decrease).
・Pass all Rule laws before the time limit to complete the Chapter.

These choices appear as soon as you enter Chapter 5, where tension rises to the max and civil war is upon us. The Banish Opposing Faction choice will make you set up a separate colony for them to move to at the Windward Moor just south of New London, while the Seek Reconciliation means you have to restructure your Laws and Buildings according to the needs of both your Factions in order to help pass the Peace Accords law.

Depending on your progress from the previous chapters, the Enforce Order choice is the easiest to do as long as you have most of the Rules passed ahead of time.

Banish Opposing Faction and Establish Another Colony

Banish Opposing Faction and Establish Another Colony

We recommend to Banish the Opposing Faction as this will only require you to set up the colony for them to move to. This can be located at the Windward Moor, which is south of New London.

Make sure to build a Windshield for them as this will automatically transfer the opposing faction without having to round up the remaining members.

Build a Windshield Before Handing Control of the Colony

Building a Windshield requires 30,000 Materials in the stockpile before handing control of the colony so members of the opposing faction will transfer automatically. This way, you don't have to round up the remaining members in New London.
