  3. Build Extraction Districts on Oil Storages

Construct a Logistics District

In order to start exploring outside of New London, you first have to create a Logisitics District on an Old Waystation node. These nodes are usually found at the edge of your city areas marked with a compass icon.

Frostpunk 2 How to Find a New Source of Fuel

Once you have the Logistics District set up, send out your Frostland Teams to expeditions and discover new territories on the west as there is a high chance of finding a new settlement. You will eventually find the Old Dreadnought which contains Oil Storage nodes.

Build Extraction Districts on Oil Storages

In the Old Dreadnought, frostbreak nodes towards the Oil Storages and start constructing Extraction Districts on them to give yourself a new source of fuel for your generator. Try to research the Pumpjacks idea so you can increase the Oil output you make by constructing them on expanded Extraction Districts.
