Heating Hub 		An additional heat source and can lower heat demands.

Food Stockpile Hub 		A temperature-controlled storage for food.

Fuel Stockpile Hub 		Cisterns and Silos that store fuel.

Basic Hubs Unlock as you Progress

Frostpunk 2 How to Unlock Hubs
The Food Stockpile Hub will automatically available at the start of the game. Then, at the start of Chapter 1, the Heating, Fuel, Materials, Goods, and Food Hubs will automatically be unlocked.

Research Hubs in the Idea Tree

The rest of the Hubs can only be unlocked through the Idea Tree. Be sure to research these with a strategy in mind as each resource matters in Frostpunk 2.

Hubs are a unique type of District that can be placed anywhere while only taking up one tile. They let you stockpile resources and some provide positive effects over an area like reducing the demand for Heat, Workforce, or Material if they are placed next to their matching districts (e.g., placing a Food Stockpile Hub next to a Food District).
