Prologue ┣ Fight the cold by establishing Extraction, Housing, and Food Districts. ┣ Stockpile enough Food to survive the whiteout. ┗ Survive the whiteout.
Chapter 1 - Scraping the Barrel ┣ Secure Coal and expand the shelter for the citizens of New London. ┣ Build a Research Institute and Council Hall. ┗ Find the Old Dreadnought to acquire a new source of fuel.
Chapter 2 - Ambitions ┣ Defeat or embrace the Frost by upgrading the Generator. ┗ Stockpile enough resources to survive the whiteout.
Chapter 3 - Return to Winterhome ┣ Find Winterhome past The Gorge beside New London. ┣ Prepare to colonize Winterhome by gathering enough workforce and resources. ┗ Decide between salvaging Winterhome for Cores or settling in it.

Minimize Idle Time

Try to avoid being idle as time passes. Time is the most important resource for survival, and you should always be active in stabilizing your economy and demands.

If you're unsure what to do next, use the Pause function! Note that pausing is disabled if you're playing in Survivor Mode.

Address Problems Immediately

Problems are inevitable, so do your best to address them as soon as possible. You may have to make sacrifices but the toughest decisions are usually the right ones!
