These buildings can be built on any district, except the Central District, as long as the district has an empty building slot.
List of All Universal Buildings
Buildings are unlocked by researching ideas in the Idea Tree. Some buildings have variations depending on what idea you choose.
Buildings can be built on empty Building slots inside Districts. They can improve the base output of the District they were built in or even reduce crime, squalor, or sickness itself. More buildings will be available for construction once more ideas are unlocked in the Idea Tree.
Upon their construction, each District only has space for one Building. Players need to expand the District first if they want to build two Buildings inside of it.
Some Buildings unlock game mechanics with the prime examples being the Council and the Research Institute. Constructing the Council will unlock Laws while the Research Institute unlocks the Idea Tree.
