| Description | Shinobu first encountered Travis in a ranked assasination battle. Judging by Travis' Beam Katana she wrongfully accused him of killing her father. In reality Travis was a big fan of her father and decided to spare Shinobu's life. They have since grown to be friends. |
Is Shinobu a Playable Character?
Not a Playable Character
Shinobu Jacobs is not a playable character in No More Heroes 3. However, she does play an important role in the main story as Travis' mentee and friend. Shinobu is also a playable character in Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes.
Possible Spin-Off Game
In an interview with Suda51, the creator of the No More Heroes games, he expressed some interest in continuing the story of Shinobu Jacobs in another game. However, no official statement has been released on whether we will see spin-off of No More Heroes with Shinobu as the lead.
Shinobu Jacobs's Role in No More Heroes 3
Fallen Ally
Shinobu is one of Travis Touchdown's closest allies who sees him as a friend and mentor. Though an early battle with FU left her incapacitated for most of the story, she still acts as one of the main driving forces of Travis on his journey to defeating the aliens that have come to earth.

| 5 | Shinobu utters the word "battle." Travis says that the most glorious battles are the ones that aren't filmed. Travis recalls a secret wrestling match at Green Dome Maebashi, but he's unsure who participated in it, between Scott Norton, Bam Bam Bigelow, and Tony Halme. |
| 6 | Shinobu tells Travis that she's ready to fight. Travis then asks Shinobu if she's ready to drop a wrestling move as deadly as Akira Hokuto's Northern Lights Bomb. |
| 7 | Shinobu begs Travis to let her kill FU. Travis tells her that she has to go full on, like the pro-wrestling tag team between Shinya Hashimoto and Naoya Ogawa. |
| 8 | Shinbou tells Travis that she will kill FU, even if it means she sacrifices her own life in the process. Travis then says the first time he felt the importance of human life was during the deathmatch between Genichiro Tenryu and Jumbo Tsuruda, especially when Tsuruda used his seemingly deadly Power Bomb move on Tenryu. |
