Yes, No More Heroes 3 is a direct sequel to the game No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle which was released for the Wii in 2010.

Despite Travis Strikes Again being released after No More Heroes 2, Goichi Suda, the creator of the No More Heroes Series, does not consider this as a direct sequel to No More Heroes 2.
