Use Death Kick and Death Force when Destroyman charges up for powerful attacks like Destroy Cannon or Destroy Buster. Death Kick and Death Force interrupt his attack and send him flying backwards.
You will fight around 10 Mass-produced Destroyman immediately before this boss fight, which is great for Slash Reel hunting. If you manage to pull the Full Armor or Full Green mode from the Slash Reel then, it's best to save it for this boss' Red Phase.
Full Armor Travis Combat Guide
Destroyman's basic attacks include 2 quick uppercuts and a spin attack. He can do either attack alone or combo them, with the spin attack as the finisher. All attacks can be blocked or dodged.
Destroyman flies forward with a powerful punch. This attack can be dodged or interrupted with Death Force.
Destroyman launches 2 electric pulses that track Travis as he moves around. The electric pulses can be blocked or slowed down with Death Slow.
In the Red Phase, Destroyman can also toss 1 large electric pulse that creates a similarly large blast radius upon impact. This attack can only be dodged.
Destroyman charges up his fist then launches an uppercut with a wave of electricity. This attack can be blocked if directly hit by the fist, but otherwise, it's recommended to dodge to the side instead.
Destroyman charges up then fires a laser that follows Travis as he runs around. Before firing, the path of the laser is denoted by a white line. The laser doesn't stop even if Travis is hit. This attack can be interrupted with Death Force or Death Kick.
As Destroyman charges up, a lot of static quickly forms around him. He then lets out a burst of 4 electric pulses that travel directly to his front, back, left, and right sides. This attack can be dodged or interrupted with Death Force or Death Kick.
Despite being defeated twice already in the first two original games, Destroyman returns with an army of manufactured robots in order to "save the world" from assassins such as Travis Touchdown.
Destroyman appears on the scene challenging Travis to a "fair fight," only to blast him with a joy buzzer when they shake on it. Even after Travis' retaliation, Destroyman still sends robots after Travis, instead of facing him himself.
