When Gold Joe starts rapidly spinning his swords while moving towards you, a blue or red field will appear, indicating Gold Joe's polarity. Match your color/polarity with his in order to push him towards the fence. Conversely, avoid fighting near the fence.
Walk over the blue tile to change polarity to blue (S) and the red tile to change to red (N). Being the opposite of Gold Joe's polarity draws you closer to him, while matching his pushes him away.
Gold Joe can be stunned by mashing him with combos. When stunned, perform a wrestling move on Gold Joe to deal massive damage and replenish your power. Wrestling moves may also trigger the Slash Reel, which gives you the chance to activate Mustang Mode/Full Armor Travis.
If you get Full Armor Travis via the Slash Reel, it's better to use it to quickly deplete the Red Phase of Gold Joe's health, as that is when his attacks are most powerful and hard to dodge.
Gold Joe rapidly swings his swords around while pulling Travis in with polarity. Gold Joe's polarity is denoted by a blue or red field. Gold Joe immediately makes his polarity the opposite of Travis' in order to draw him in. Match his polarity to push him into the fence.
In the Green Phase, Gold Joe remains stationary. In the Yellow and Red Phases, he moves toward Travis.
Gold Joe's basic attack combo is 2 swings of a single sword, followed by a final dual-wielded slash. The first 2 swings can be blocked, while the finisher should be dodged.
Gold Joe slices the ground in 4 different directions at once. The area of effect isn't marked prior to Joe attacking, but the range of these slashes are limited, so just move away from Gold Joe.
Gold Joe throws 4 rapidly spinning swords forward. Dodge away from his frontside, to either the left or right side.
In the Yellow Phase, Gold Joe summons 2 pairs of rocks on opposite sides of the electric fence to smash into each other in the middle of the battlefield. In the Red Phase, it's 4 pairs of rocks. Trajectory is marked with a laser as attack charges up.
Gold Joe is an interstellar mineral dealer who wields control over magnetic force and polarity. His kind has served FU's royal family for thousands of years, and he is loyal to FU without question. He is honored that FU considers him a friend.
Gold Joe boasts confidence with his ability to projection map objects, although Travis Touchdown is not impressed and mocks his unoriginality. Gold Joe takes Travis' irreverent humor lightly though, even if the only comebacks Joe can make are variations of "Oh snap!".
