After defeating the final boss and completing the main story, an ending will play depicting Travis and friends attending Badman's funeral. Afterward, the credits roll, followed by the game's true ending.

No More Heroes 3's true ending plays after the brief credit roll. The true ending is a 2D animated movie that features the arrival of King Jess Baptiste V on Earth, the appearance of Travis' twins Hunter and Jeane, and a tease towards Henry Cooldown's return.

After the events of the main story, Travis and his friends hold a funeral for Badman out at sea. Bad Girl gives a short eulogy for her father, then scatters his ashes over the ocean.

Immediately after Badman's funeral, King Jess Baptiste V, FU's father, comes to Earth in hopes of making peace with the humans. Travis tells him to go find actual representatives of Earth to talk to, which the king takes as a failure of negotiations. The king declares that he's seizing the planet but is suddenly killed.

The king's killers are revealed to be Jeane and Hunter Touchdown, Travis' twins from the future. They also reveal that Native Dancer is Jeane's son Scott.
They reveal they've travelled from the future to kill Henry Cooldown, who, in their timeline, killed Travis, teamed up with aliens, and is now on the verge of destroying the planet. The game ends with the kids telling Travis they need him in the family war.

The true ending of No More Heroes 3 could be a teaser for a possible new game in the franchise led by some of the characters that we just met. Though Suda51, the creator of the No More Heroes, has confirmed that Travis will not be returning to the franchise, this does not mean that the story of No More Heroes ends here.
