How to Beat Ice Shaver

Scan Its Head for Targets

To deal damage to the Ice Shaver, you need to move your sights using the R-stick to lock onto various targets on his head. When the "DESTROY!!" meter at the bottom of your screen turns blue, fire your missiles using ZR.

If you notice all the targets are in one spot, press ZL for the laser cannon instead to deal more damage quicker.

A recurring major attack of the Ice Shaver is launching a giant ball of ice. However, it has to charge it up first. Destroy the ball of ice with your missiles or laser as he's building it up. The Ice Shaver will get knocked back immediately after its ball of ice is destroyed, and the targets will then appear on its 2 antennae.
