How to Get SS Rank in Missions
This is a guide to getting SS ranks during battles and missions in No More Heroes 3 for the Nintendo Switch. Read on to learn how the ranking system works and how to increase your rank by finishing missions quickly, taking less damage, and using Death Glove Skills.

How to Get SS Rank
Finish Mission Quickly
The amount of time it takes for you to complete a mission influences your final rank. To increase your ranking score, finish the battle quickly by taking out all enemies as fast you can. Focus on getting higher DPS over well-timed slashes.
Take Less Damage
Be conscious of the amount of damage you take during the mission, as the more damage you take, the lower your possible rank. Try to dodge and block as many attacks as possible while still delivering tons of damage to your opponents.
Use Death Glove Skills
Using Death Glove Skills can also increase your rank while at the same time may help you take down more defensive enemies quicker. As soon as a Death Glove Skill becomes available, use it as it can pull your rank up higher.

Ranking System
There are a total of five ranks you can achieve when completing missions. Different missions will have varying levels of difficulty, which also determine your final rank. The highest rank you can earn is SS, while the lowest is C.

Criteria for Ranking
There are three main criteria that the game uses to determine your final rank. Each criteria can either increase or decrease your final rank.
| Clear Time | The longer it took to complete the mission, the lower your rank. |
|---|---|
| Damage Taken | The amount of damage taken during the mission decreases your rank. |
| No. of Skill Uses | The more Death Glove Skills used during the mission, the higher your rank. |
