Forzuni is the Best Knife

Forzuni

The Forzuni is the best knife you can use in the game as you play through the story. With six sharpness bars, the highest out of any knife, you can do so much more with the Forzuni without running out of whetstones.

The Light-Fingered perk also allows you to instantly loot bodies with Stealth Takedowns. This allows you to restock supplies much faster while earning Dinari. You can buy the Forzuni from Pasquale's Shop for 1000 Dinari.

Stilleto Speciale for DLC Owners

Stilleto Speciale

If you have the Deluxe Edition of the game or own the Padrino Pack DLC, you'll have access to the Stilleto Speciale as soon as you unlock knives.

This knife has all the benefits of the Forzuni with the added perk of Resourceful, which increases the loot obtained from Locked Boxes. If you have the Padrino Pack, just use the Stilleto Speciale since it's better and does not cost Dinari compared to the expensive Forzuni.

How to Get Stiletto Speciale

Best Knife Type

Best for Stealth Gameplay: Scannaturi

The best knives for stealth-based gameplay are the Scannaturi knives, owing to their ability to be used as throwing knives. This allows the player more options on playing around stealth with the extended range for takedowns.

Best for General Use: Stilleto

Sharpen Knife with Whetstone

For general use, you can never go wrong with Stilettos thanks to their high durability. You'll be able to use more special actions like opening locks and taking out enemies before you have to sharpen it with a whetstone.

How to Sharpen Knives

Best for Hard Mode: Rasolu

In Hard Mode, you can make great use of the Rasolu knives' Combat Takedowns to take out enemies quickly when they get too close. The invulnerability during the animation could also protect you from lethal damage.

Pick the Colossu or Viperi in Chapter 2

Colossu

The Colossu has four sharpness bars allowing you to do more with it like opening chests before you need to sharpen. Whetstones are hard to come by so the extra sharpness really helps you make the most use out of a knife.

However, you may also opt for the Viperi to use Knife Throw Takedowns, giving you more options in combat with the downside of having just two sharpness bars.
