Specialties Carpenters are woodcraft experts. Majority of Carpenter's crafting recipes are for housing, but they also synthesize weapons, tools, accessories, and even a Magicked Bed mount. Carpenters also process lumber for crafting and repair wooden equipment. |

Specialties Blacksmiths specialize in weaponry. Blacksmiths synthesize many weapons and tools for different jobs. They can also create furniture but their list of housing recipes is not as extensive. Blacksmiths smelt metal for crafting and repair metal weapons. |

Specialties Armorers turn metal into armor. They also synthesize tools and furniture. Armorers smelt metal like the blacksmith and repairs metal gear, which is especially helpful for tank mains. Since they are located in the same area as the Blacksmith's guild, it is recommended to level them together. |

Specialties Goldsmiths combine gems and metals to make jewelry. Goldsmiths synthesize accessories, tools, weapons, and occassionally furniture. Goldsmiths refine stones, and repair accessories. |

Specialties Leatherworkers synthesize leather gear and can create a few furniture. Leatherworkers process animal furs and pelts into leather and repair leather garments. |

Specialties Weavers are experts of the thread. They synthesize fashionable gear and minions. Weavers process cloth and repair cloth gear. |
Alchemist | Guild Location Steps of Thal, Ul'dah |

Specialties Alchemists are masters of transmogrification. Alchemists synthesize potions for healing and battle. They also synthesize weapons, and Orchestrion Rolls. Alchemists convert drops and other basic material into more advanced crafting material. |
Culinarian | Guild Location Upper Decks Limsa Lominsa |

Specialties Culinarians are experts in culinary arts. Culinarians synthesize food which give buffs and exp boosts in battle. Culinarians can also craft fishing bait and desynthesize fish for raw material and special items. However, it is recommended to level up other crafting and gathering classes since Culinarian recipes require processed ingredients. |
Crafting allows players to use materials to create items, equipment, and furniture.
There are eight Crafter job classes with their own unique specialties and crafting recipes. By playing as a crafter, players are able to craft various types of gear, weapons, accessories, housing furniture, and special items.
Crafting can help free the player's inventory space from raw materials and earn gil by selling items on the Marketboard.
Crafting also grants players the ability to upgrade and repair equipment at any place and can save not only time but gil!
