FFXIV Dawntrail 7.05 (FF14)

How to Get to Level 90 Fast

This is a guide to leveling up from level 80 to 90 in Final Fantasy XIV (FF14). Read on to learn about all the efficient methods you can use to level your combat jobs to level 90!

How to Get to Level 90

7 Tips for Leveling to 90

Equip Azeyma's Earrings from Dawntrail Pre-Order Bonus

If you pre-ordered Dawntrail and have Azeyma's Earrings, be sure to equip it as it increases EXP gain by 30% for classes/jobs below level 90. The accessory will make leveling so much faster with the added bonus that its stats will vary according to your current level.

Leveling and Alliance Raid Roulettes

Make sure to do your daily Leveling and Alliance Raid roulettes for EXP. These can be done once a day and can guarantee at least one or close to one level's worth of EXP for your combat jobs. Duty Roulettes can take a while for DPS jobs and almost no waiting time for tanks and healers.

Optional Daily Frontlines (PvP)

If you don't mind doing a bit of PvP, you can also participate in the Daily Challenge: Frontline in the Duty Roulette. These also give good EXP to level you jobs/classes.

Lv. 80 - 90 Dungeons from Endwalker

Do Endwalker leveling dungeons around your current level using the Party Finder. These dungeons give a lot of EXP with one level for every two to three dungeon runs.

Dungeon Level EXP Gain
The Tower of Zot 81 - 82 ~2.5 million
The Tower of Babil 83 - 84 ~3.0 million
Vanaspati 85 - 86 ~3.25 million
Ktisis Hyperboreia 87 - 88 ~3.5 million
The Aitiascope 89 - 90 ~4.0 million

Duty Support to Clear Without Other Players

DPS Jobs take a longer time to find a party to clear dungeons with so they have the option to use Duty Support to clear the dungeon with a party of NPCs. Playing with NPCs will certainly take longer but it's better than waiting a long time looking for a party.

Do FATEs While Waiting for a Party

While waiting to find a party for dungeons, you can do FATEs in many of the Endwalker areas to earn EXP while waiting. FATEs also reward Bicolor Gemstones which can be traded for high-value items. This can be done to earn gil while leveling up your combat jobs.

Log Out Within Rest Areas

FFXIV - Rest Area Symbol

Logging out in cities, inns, and in the vicinities of Aetheryte Plazas can accumulate Rest EXP bonuses while you are logged out. This bonus can help a lot for leveling as they multiply the experience you gain by 1.5x. These areas are indicated by a moon symbol at the tip of your EXP bar indicating you are in a rest area.

Complete Arkasodara Daily Quests

Arkasodara Daily Quests are one of the quests from the Allied Society Quests. These can be unlocked by completing the Endwalker (MSQ) and the tribal quest Hippos Born to Run.

If you've already cleared Endwalker with your main job, you can use the Arkasodara dailies to level up the other jobs. Depending on your reputation, these dailies give up to 840,000+ EXP each and you can do three of them each day.

Participate in Engagements at the Bozjan Southern Front or Zadnor

You can earn good EXP while doing Skirmishes and participating in Critical Engagements when they occur at the Bozjan Southern Front and Zadnor. These activities give a good amount of EXP available to level 80 to 89 players.
