Ihuykatumu is a level 91 dungeon in Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail (FF14). Read to to learn more about the dungeon, guides on how to beat each boss, and how to unlock!

1st Boss Guide - Prime Punutiy

Resurface

The boss moves to the water by the arena's edge and attacks in a fan-shaped area. After the fan attack, dodge the circular AOE attacks, then enter the safe area within the Donut AOE range.

Since the attacks are in rapid succession, Casters and Healers should avoid using skills that require casting.

Song of the Punutiy

Prime Punutiy summons four untargetable adds. These all have different attacks, with two of them having a large circle range, one with a small circle range, and the last one having a fan range.

Keep your Tanks and Melee units close to the boss, and ranged units away from Prime Punutiy. During this attack, try to avoid overlapping ranges to minimize the damage taken.

2nd Boss Guide - Drowsie

Drowsy Dance

Drowsie summons plants that attack in a straight line. The attack happens twice, with the second attack having a larger range, due to the plants growing. Avoid this attack by running to the spaces where the attacks do not overlap.

After the attack from the plants, Drowsie will attack in a fan-shaped area. Keep this in mind when dodging to avoid all attacks successfully.

Spit

Drowsie Spit

Drowsie will spawn a large number of untargetable Clots that will turn into targetable Mimiclots after using Metamorphosis.

Due to the number of enemies, make sure that Tank units take the aggro from the Mimiclots, while everyone else focuses on defeating the adds.

3rd Boss Guide - Apollyon

Swarming Locust

Apollyon jumps around the edge of the arena three times, then attack in four straight lines.

The attack can be easily dodged by staying away from Apollyon's landing area, since the space near the boss will have the four lines overlap.

Levinsickle

Two fan-shaped areas will appear around two circular markers, with the attack being done twice in succession.

To avoid both attacks, move to a safe zone, wait for the first attack, then immediately move to the next safe zone before the second attack triggers.

Blade

After Apollyon eats the Sandworm adds, its scythe forearms will become strengthened. Apollyon will then jump to the arena's edge and attack with a Donut AOE range.

After the Donut attack, Apollyon immediately follows up with a wide-range attack. There will be a small safe zone during this attack, which you can run to immediately after dodging the Donut attack.

Windwhistle

An untargetable Whirlwind will move around the arena, while firing eight straight attacks in different directions at fixed intervals. During this time, Apollyon will also attack in a straight line, depending on the direction it is facing.

Aside from the Whirlwind and Apollyon's attacks, there will also be circular AOE attacks targeting all the players. Make sure to have your party spread out during this attack to give everyone more room to dodge, instead of having the attacks accidentally overlap.
