When Starry Muse is cast, a circle will appear on the ground and the Pictomancer gains 5 stacks of Hyperphantasia.
Standing in the circle will allow you to spend Hyperphantasia to reduce the casting time on spells. Once you have used all stacks of Hyperphantasia, Rainbow Drip can be instantly cast with no countdown.
☑ | Keep an eye on the Palette Gauge so it doesn't overflow. |
---|---|
☑ | Use Living Muse to control the charge of the Palette Gauge |
☑ | Striking Muse can be used anytime. |
☑ | If you need to move, cast Holy in White while changing positions. |
☑ | Abilities can be used in any order as long as the Palette Gauge doesn't overflow. |
In between bursts, you are allowed to use any abilities as long as the Palette Gauge doesn't overcharge. If you need to move positions, Holy in White can be cast instantly so you don't lose damage uptime.

Creature Canvas should have either Wings or Fangs | After casting Subtractive Palette, use your enchanted color spells only and reserve Comet in Black for burst. |
Start your burst by casting Swiftcast on your first color spell to keep your GCD from falling behind when you cast Starry Muse. After casting Starry Muse, be prepared to cast 9 Spells in quick succession to maximize on the damage buff.

Basic Color Spells | ||
---|---|---|
Fire in Red | Aero in Green | Water in Blue |
Do not use enchanted color spells at the start. |
You can use Fire in Red, Aero in Green, Water in Blue, or their AoE counterparts before casting Starry Muse. Do not complete the full skill combo since this will affect the GCD.
You can also cast Holy in White if you have more than 1 stack of White Paint. You need to reserve 1 White Paint for Subtractive Palette so you could cast Comet in Black.
Do not cast enchanted color spells at the start of the burst because it will require you to use Subtractive Palette. Using Subtractive Palette will use up your palette gauge and take away your black paint. Only use Subtractive Palette for your burst.

Winged Muse | → | Mog of the Ages |
Fanged Muse | → | Retribution of the Madeen |
Your creature canvas may vary depending on how you prepare each rotation. Winged Muse can be switched with Fanged Muse, subsequently switching Mog of the Ages to Retribution of the Madeen. Regardless of which creature muse you use, they will still have the same effect in the rotation.
Make sure to use Comet in Black before casting Subtractive Palette. If you use Subtractive Palette prematurely, you will lose the black paint, and you will not be able to cast Comet in Black two times in a row.
