This is a guide to leveling up from level 90 to 100 in Final Fantasy XIV (FF14). Read on to learn about all the efficient methods you can use to level your combat classes/jobs to level 100!
Guide for Leveling to 100 |

Completing the entire Dawntrail MSQ should get the first job you want to level all the way to 100. You can only do this once so do this on the job you want to main or maybe a DPS job since Tanks and Healers have faster queue times when doing other content to level.
Make sure to do your daily Leveling and Alliance Raid roulettes for EXP. These can be done once a day and can guarantee at least one or close to one level's worth of EXP for your combat jobs. Duty Roulettes can take a while for DPS jobs and almost no waiting time for tanks and healers.
Raid | Time | Base EXP Gains |
---|---|---|
Aglaia | 20 mins. | Approx. 4.5 million |
Euphrosyne | 25 mins. | Approx. 5.1 million |
Thaleia | 35 mins. | Approx. 5.8 million |
If you pre-ordered Dawntrail and have Azeyma's Earrings, be sure to equip it as it increases EXP gain by 30% for classes/jobs below level 90 which works even while level synced. Take advantage of this to increase your EXP gains from alliance raids even more.
If you don't mind doing a bit of PvP, you can also participate in the Daily Challenge: Frontline in the Duty Roulette. These also give good EXP to level your jobs/classes.
Clear the Dawntrail leveling dungeons around your current level using the Party Finder. These dungeons give a lot of EXP with one level for every two to three dungeon runs.
Dungeon | Level |
---|---|
Ihuykatumu | 91 - 92 |
Worqor Zormor | 93 - 94 |
The Skydeep Cenote | 95 - 96 |
Vanguard | 97 - 98 |
Origenics | 99 - 100 |
Activities While Waiting for Party |

Arkasodara Daily Quests are one of the quests from the Allied Society Quests. These can be unlocked by completing the Endwalker (MSQ) and the tribal quest Hippos Born to Run. Depending on your reputation, these dailies give up to 840,000+ EXP each and you can do three of them each day.
Accomplish the new Dawn Hunts feature from the new Mark Bills system introduced in Dwantrail. These will ask you to defeat specific mobs in Dawntrail areas and reward you with EXP. These hunts reset daily except for the Elite mark bill which resets weekly.
Complete the weekly challenge log for some extra EXP which typically requires you to do FATEs and dungeons. These will also complete naturally as you do your dailies and weeklies.
While waiting to find a party for dungeons, you can do FATEs in many of the Endwalker areas to earn EXP while waiting. FATEs also reward Bicolor Gemstones which can be traded for high-value items. This can be done to earn gil while leveling up your combat jobs.
You can complete objectives for the weekly Wondrous Tails journal to obtain half a level's worth of EXP. You can do the objectives with a high-level job and turn them in with the job you want to level up with.
You can also earn good EXP while doing Skirmishes and participating in Critical Engagements when they occur at the Bozjan Southern Front and Zadnor. However, you cannot queue for other activities such as dungeons while in these special field areas.
Logging out in cities, inns, and the vicinities of Aetheryte Plazas can accumulate Rest EXP bonuses while you are logged out. This bonus can help a lot for leveling as they multiply the experience you gain by 1.5x. These areas are indicated by a moon symbol at the tip of your EXP bar indicating you are in a rest area.
