The best meals to use for Tanks in Patch 7.05 would be the Roast Chicken for more health and survivability, the Churrasco to help reduce the GCD (Global Cooldown) of your skills and increase your skill speed, or the Moqueca for more critical hits.
Food | Effect (HQ) |
---|---|
Moqueca | ・Determination +10% (Max 132) ・Vitality +10% (Max 203) ・Critical Hit +10% (Max 79) |
Roast Chicken | ・Direct Hit +10% (Max 132) ・Vitality +10% (Max 203) ・Determination +10% (Max 79) |
Churrasco | ・Critical Hit +10% (Max 132) ・Vitality +10% (Max 203) ・Skill Speed +10% (Max 79) |
Pineapple Orange Jelly | ・Critical Hit +10% (Max 132) ・Vitality +10% (Max 203) ・Spell Speed +10% (Max 79) |
As for DPS players, the Moqueca and Roast Chicken are great if you want more damage and survivability, while the Churrasco and Pineapple Orange Jelly will help with your skill and spell speed if you want to cast more often.
Food | Effect (HQ) |
---|---|
Pineapple Orange Jelly | ・Critical Hit +10% (Max 132) ・Vitality +10% (Max 203) ・Spell Speed +10% (Max 79) |
Moqueca | ・Determination +10% (Max 132) ・Vitality +10% (Max 203) ・Critical Hit +10% (Max 79) |
Roast Chicken | ・Direct Hit +10% (Max 132) ・Vitality +10% (Max 203) ・Determination +10% (Max 79) |
The Healers, on the other hand, will require them to cast their spells more often so the Pineapple Orange Jelly would be your best bet. Moqueca and Roast Chicken are secondary options if you do not need the spell speed.
Foods and Meals are capable of boosting your stats ranging from 8% (Normal Quality) to 10% (High Quality). This is important for endgame content such as Extreme Trials or Savage Raids as you need to achieve the highest possible stats you can have when doing these runs.
Consuming a meal twice will also double its duration from 30 minutes to 60 minutes so try to cook two of each meal that you are planning to use.
If you belong to a Free Company, you can use the Meat and Mead III action to increase the duration of your meals by 15 minutes. Keep in mind that the action must be used before the meal is consumed to extend it.
High-Quality meals give the highest stat boost (10%) so try to focus on cooking these types of meals. To craft these, you need to perform enough Touch skills during crafting to increase the quality parameter of the item. Using High-Quality ingredients will also help increase the quality parameter for higher chances of crafting a High-Quality meal.
In addition to the boosted stats you get, meals also give the Well Fed buff which increases your EXP gain by 3%. The duration also works in tandem with consuming meals twice to extend the buff to 60 minutes.
