How to Get the Eye of the Witness

Defeat Witness Bossess

Witness Agares II
The Eye of the Witness is a reward that you will get after defeating a Witness boss in all locations in the game. There are four Witness bosses that you can fight in the base game's story.

You can fight stronger versions of the Witness bosses in the post game. You should be able to obtain more Eyes of the Witness from them in the post game by talking to Plimbo, who will note that the Witnesses have returned.

In the Woolhaven DLC, you will also fight against bosses with this name, but you will get a Rotten Eye of the Witness instead.

How to Use the Eye of the Witness

Give to Plimbo at Smuggler's Sanctuary

Plimbo

The Eye of the Witness can be given to Plimbo at Smuggler's Sanctuary in exchange for Holy Talisman pieces.

Once you obtain 4 Holy Talisman pieces, you get a whole Holy Talisman, which can be exchanged at the Temple for a Fleece. You can get two whole Holy Talismans from Plimbo if you exchange all 8 Eye of the Witness items.
