Wolf Traps can be unlocked in the Divine Inspiration menu to protect your Ranch animals from wolves in the Cult of the Lamb Woolhaven DLC. Read on to learn how to unlock the Wolf Trap and how to use it.

Progress the Woolhaven DLC Story
You will need to upgrade Yngya enough times to unlock more nodes in the Divine Inspiration menu. To do this, you will have to progress through the Woolhaven DLC and rescue more lost souls. Yngya will get upgraded as you bring more souls to her.
Obtain Devotion
Once you unlock the Winter IV and the third tier of Divine Inspiration for the Woolhaven DLC, you can use Divine Inspiration Points to unlock the Wolf Trap. You may gain this by collecting Devotion from your praying followers.
Unlock From Divine Inspiration
Unlock the Wolf Trap from the Divine Inspiration menu once you are able. This will give you the blueprint that allows you to build and place the Wolf Trap.
Build the Wolf Trap
After unlocking the Wolf Trap, you may start building some for 1 Stone Block and 1 Pure Yewbark each.
You may create Pure Yewbark by consecrating Charged Shards and Cursed Yewbark in the Refinery.
Place the Wolf Trap by the Ranch
Place some Wolf Traps near your Ranch in order to kill wolves that may come near. To lure the wolves, you will have to place meat inside of the Wolf Traps.
Wolf Trap Effects
Protect Ranch Animals
Your Ranch animals will be in danger every time there is a wolf attack. You may place Wolf Traps in order to protect them even when you are not tending to your cult.
Obtain Meat
Once a wolf is captured, you will be able to harvest their Meat from the trap. You may put this harvested meat into the Wolf Traps again, or use it for cooking.
Capture Midas
You can use the Midas Skull to hatch Midas as an eventual follower of your cult. However, if he grows into an adult, he will steal Gold from you and eventually leave your cult. He will continue stealing from your cult until a follower complains about him.
If a follower complains about Midas, you can accept the follower quest to catch him. Simply set up a Wolf Trap with a Gold Bar as bait. Once caught, you can indoctrinate him and turn him into a follower again.
