Flails

The Flail is a new weapon type added in the Woolhaven DLC. The Flail is a mid-range weapon that can reach enemies in front of you, with its heavy attack allowing you latch and charge onto a target.

BattlerBattler's Bludgeon Regular Weapon Effect:
Spiked and ragged and swung with force.
Flavor Text:
Swung with the spirit of a barbarous battler.
Bane FlailBane Flail Bane Weapon Effect:
Chance of poisoning enemies when attacking.
Flavor Text:
Covered in a slick, iridescent sheen.
Necromantic FlailNecromantic Flail Necromantic Weapon Effect:
Destroy a dead body to release a ghost that will attack nearby enemies.
Flavor Text:
Built of bone stronger than steel.
Vampiric FlailVampiric Flail Vampiric Weapon Effect:
Chance to heal the wielder using the life force of a slain foe.
Flavor Text:
Be wary lest it bite you, too.
Merciless FlailMerciless Flail Merciless Weapon Effect:
Chance to deal a Critical Hit when attacking enemies.

Legendary Weapons

Legendary Weapon

Legendary Weapons are a new weapon variant that were also added in the Woolhaven DLC. These weapons have higher damage output and have useful additional effects. All weapon types in the game, including the Flail, have Legendary counterparts.

To make Legendary Weapons, you need to find their corresponding Legendary Weapon Fragments which you can get from runs or from completing quests. You can then bring these, along with some Wool, to Rami in Woolhaven.

Golden EndGolden End Sword Effect:
1.5x attack speed.

The sword of legendary swiftness.
LambLamb's Slaughter Axe Effect:
When an enemy is killed, a soul is released which damages another enemy.

Ruin of NirahRuin of Nirah Dagger Effect:
Become invincible during the fourth hit of a combo.

The dagger of legendary sharpness.
Defiler of the DivineDefiler of the Divine Gauntlets Effect:
The third attack in a combo summons a lightning strike.

The gauntlets of legendary blasphemy.
Scourge of SvarogScourge of Svarog Hammer Effect:
Create a ring of lightning when the hammer is slammed.

Shoots 3 projectiles in one shot.

All Legendary Weapons and How to Get Them

Ratau's Staff

Obtaining Ratau

The Woolhaven DLC allows you to obtain the stick Ratau uses and have it appear as a weapon during crusades. It functions like a sword, but it has a very poor base damage. However, it generates Fervor with every hit, so it can be helpful in a more Curse-oriented build.

Both Ratau's Staff and Ratau's Cloak can be obtained in different ways depending on whether Ratau is still alive in your game or not. Upon obtaining both of these items, you will be given the new achievement The Prodigal Child.
