Use the Midas Skull to hatch Midas in the Woolhaven DLC of Cult of the Lamb. Learn how to use the Midas Skull, how to get it, and how to find Midas in Ewefall in this guide.

How to Use the Midas Skull
Use to Hatch Midas
You can use the Midas Skull to hatch Midas as an eventual follower of your cult. You'll need a Hatchery for this, along with a Nursery to raise him to adulthood.
Midas Will Steal Gold and Leave the Cult Upon Maturity
However, if he grows into an adult, he will steal Gold from you and eventually leave your cult. He will continue stealing from your cult until a follower complains about him.
Specifically, if you perform the Coin Ritual, he will sneak in and steal coins from the offertory box after the ritual.
Can Be Caught By Setting a Wolf Trap
If a follower complains about Midas, you can accept the follower quest to catch him. Simply set up a Wolf Trap with a Gold Bar as bait.
Once caught, you can indoctrinate him and turn him into a follower again. One perk of keeping him is that he produces Gold Poop, which you can use as fertilizer on your farm!
How to Get the Midas Skull
Explore Ewefall
The only way to get the Midas Skull is by exploring Ewefall. As you progress, you'll enter a room with a scene where Midas gets decapitated. You can then take the remains of his execution, which is the Midas Skull.
Ewefall Walkthrough, Bosses, and Resources
Check the Summoning Circle
Head to your summoning circle after, and you should be able to find the Midas Skull next to it, ready to hatch. If you don't have the hatchery yet, you can use Divine Inspiration to unlock the mating tent first, which branches into the hatchery.
How to Find Midas in Ewefall
Encounter Midas in Darkwood, Anchordeep, and Silk Cradle
In the post-game, go for a run in Darkwood, Anchordeep, and Silk Cradle. You'll encounter Midas in each run here, stealing gold from you in every encounter. At your third encounter in Silk Cradle, he'll be vulnerable to attacks, so beat him up to get your gold back.

Sacrifice 4 Followers in Midas's Cave
Next, head to Midas's Cave and sacrifice 4 followers. This can be any follower, but it's recommended to sacrifice Snowlambs instead since these are just temporary followers, as any sacrifice here is permanent.
Rotten Followers can also serve as great alternatives if you don't have any Snowlambs yet.
Midas Will No Longer Accept Any Sacrifices at the Fourth
At your fourth sacrifice, Midas will no longer accept anything further. This is a good indication that you've reached the four sacrifices required, guaranteeing his appearance in Ewefall shortly after.
Go for a Run in Ewefall
After meeting the required sacrifices, go for a run in Ewefall. Keep progressing, and you'll eventually find a room with the cutscene where Midas gets executed. Defeat his executioner after to get the Midas Skull.
