CrusaderCrusader's Blade Regular Weapon Effect:
A well balanced blade dealing moderate damage.
Flavor Text:
Stalwart companion to the wandering warrior.
Bane SwordBane Sword Bane Weapon Effect:
Chance of poisoning enemies when attacking.
Flavor Text:
Coated in the bile of a beast, long forgotten.
Necromantic SwordNecromantic Sword Necromantic Weapon Effect:
When slaying a foe chance to summon a ghost that will attack nearby enemies.
Flavor Text:
Death's own blade.
Vampiric SwordVampiric Sword Vampiric Weapon Effect:
Chance to heal the wielder using the life force of a slain foe.
Flavor Text:
Vitality to those bold enough to take it.
Merciless SwordMerciless Sword Merciless Weapon Effect:
Chance to deal a Critical Hit when attacking enemies.
Flavor Text:
Grant no mercy, take no chances.
Zealous SwordZealous Sword Zealous Weapon Effect:
Collected Fervour will also increase your Divine Inspiration bar.

RatauRatau's Staff Regular Weapon Effect:
Barely more than a stick. Enemies will drop Fervor on hit.

A supple piece of wood, with three notches etched.

There are 8 Sword weapons in the game. Each weapon has a different effect, but they all have the same light and heavy attacks.

How to Use Sword Weapons

Mid-Range Regular Attack

Sword Light Attack

The Sword is a mid-range weapon that is capable of executing a three-attack combo. You can move around while performing this combo, which makes the Sword a well-balanced weapon.

Heavy Attack

Sword Heavy Attack

Once you obtain the heavy attack upgrade from sermons, the heavy attack for this weapon is unlocked. After a short windup time, the Sword will be slammed to the ground, damaging any enemies around the area.

You can increase the damage output of the spinning heavy attack once you get Sword Mastery which can also be obtained from sermon upgrades.
