Chance of poisoning enemies when attacking.
Flavor Text:
Forged with ill-intent and evil spirits.
Necromantic HammerNecromantic Hammer Necromantic Weapon Effect:
When slaying a foe chance to summon a ghost that will attack nearby enemies.
Flavor Text:
Used in ancient rituals to grind bones to dust.
Vampiric HammerVampiric Hammer Vampiric Weapon Effect:
Chance to heal the wielder using the life force of a slain foe.

Driver of stakes.
Merciless HammerMerciless Hammer Merciless Weapon Effect:
Chance to deal a Critical Hit when attacking enemies.

There are 8 Hammer weapons in the game. Each weapon has a different effect, but they all have the same light and heavy attacks.

How to Use Hammer Weapons

Mid-Range Regular Attack

Hammer Light Attack

The Hammer is a mid-range weapon which can deal a high amount of damage per attack. The caveat is that each regular attack has a long windup before you can damage enemies and you will not be able to move, so you are vulnerable to attacks for quite some time.

Heavy Attack

Hammer Heavy Attack

Once you obtain the heavy attack upgrade from sermons, the heavy attack for this weapon is unlocked. You will charge the Hammer for half a second before it is swung around, dealing massive damage to the target location. Unlike the regular attack, you can move around while charging this heavy attack.

You can increase the damage output of the charged heavy attack once you get Hammer Mastery which can also be obtained from sermon upgrades.
