Ratau's Staff can be obtained from either the Fox or from Sariel in the Cult of the Lamb Woolhaven DLC. Read on to learn about Ratau's Staff, its stats, how to get it, and more!

How to Get Ratau's Staff

Go to the Woolhaven Pier at Night

Peer into the Darkness at the Woolhaven Pier

In order to get Ratau's Staff, you must make sure that you have a Rotten Follower that you're willing to sacrifice. Once you're ready, head to the pier at the east side of Woolhaven during nighttime.

There should be a green moon-shaped leaf at the edge of the pier. Approaching it will prompt you to Peer into the Darkness. Press the associated button, and you will be visited by the Fox, who will ask you for a Rotten Follower.

Sacrifice your chosen Rotten Follower, and the Fox will give you either Ratau's Staff or Ratau's Cloak depending on the choices you've made in the game beforehand.

Ratau's Cloak is Rewarded if Ratau was Sacrificed

Ratau
If Ratau is still alive and well in your game, the Fox will give you Ratau's Staff as a reward. However, if you've sacrificed Ratau beforehand, you will be given Ratau's Cloak instead.

You can still obtain Ratau's Staff, but you will have to get it from Sariel with the help of Ratau's Cloak. Likewise, if you haven't sacrificed Ratau, you can obtain his cloak from the man himself by playing Knucklebones with him after getting his staff.

Talk to Sariel if Ratau Was Sacrificed

Repair Sariel

After obtaining Ratau's Cloak from the Fox, equip it at your Temple. Then, head back to Woolhaven.

If you haven't repaired Sariel's building yet, make sure you've done so using 10 Pure Yewbark. Once the building's repaired and Sariel's quest board is available, talk to Sariel with Ratau's Cloak equipped. Sariel will then give you Ratau's Staff.
