Cult of the Lamb - Lands of the Old Faith All Dungeons

Dungeons are key locations in Cult of the Lamb where you can fight enemies, gather resources, rescue potential followers, and earn gold. See a list of all dungeons here, including details on how to unlock each dungeon, the rewards you can earn from each run.

Lands of the Old Faith Dungeons

Dungeons How to Unlock
Darkwood Unlocked by default.
Anura Have 7 followers.
Hard Mode: Have 16 followers and sacrifice a level 4 follower.
Anchordeep Have 9 followers.
Hard Mode: Have 18 followers and sacrifice a level 7 follower.
Silk Cradle Have 12 followers.
Hard Mode: Have 20 followers and sacrifice a level 10 follower.

Hard mode versions of the dungeons are only available in the post-game. These require sacrifices, which are permanent. When choosing a follower to sacrifice, pick someone you can afford to lose, such as a follower who is close to old age.

Woolhaven Dungeons

Dungeons How to Unlock
Ewefall Complete Yngya's requests. Requires 9 followers.
The Rot Complete Ewefall Cliffs. Requires 9 followers.

The endless versions for both Woolhaven dungeons can be unlocked by progressing through the DLC story. Simply complete the main story of the DLC to access these dungeons again, but on hard mode with tougher enemies.

All Dungeon Rooms

All Types of Dungeon Rooms

Room Type What to Expect
Followers RoomFollower Room You can find a potential follower here. You can either rescue them after combat or find them alone and rescue them without fighting.
Enemies RoomSword Room Includes multiple rooms filled with enemies. You need to clear each one to proceed to the next. Great for farming more materials and gold.
Resources RoomResource Room Rooms filled with resources. Simply hit them to obtain the specified materials.
Random RoomRandom Room This room is random, and you won’t know what to expect until you enter it.
Shop RoomShop Room Rooms with NPCs inside. They can either give you items for free or offer items for purchase.
Boss RoomBoss Room Multiple rooms that end with a miniboss. This is the final room of each dungeon, where you receive rewards after defeating it.

Followers

Getting Followers

Dungeons are the primary way to get followers. You can get them by entering special rooms and defeating enemies to rescue them. After saving them, they will appear back in your cult, ready for indoctrination.

You can also unlock new follower forms by exploring dungeons, allowing you to diversify your followers’ looks. These forms are tied to each dungeon’s biome. For example, if you want aquatic follower forms, you can do a run in Anchordeep to get them.

Resources

Materials Earned
Dungeons are also good places to farm resources. You can use these resources for many things, such as building facilities or decorations.

You can also unlock new items to build while exploring dungeons, since you can obtain blueprints from them!

Coins

Earning Gold

Defeating enemies in dungeons is also a great way to farm coins or gold. If you’re in need of money, do a run in any dungeon to earn more gold.

Tarot Cards

Tarot Card

Tarot Cards are temporary buffs that you can obtain simply by exploring dungeons. They help you survive longer and make boss fights easier if the dungeon has one.

Weapons and Curses

New Weapons

You will be given a random weapon and, if unlocked, a random curse upon starting a dungeon. You can find upgrades or replacements for these as you go through a dungeon. Weapons are primarily tools for dealing damage to enemies in these dungeons, so keep exploring if you want to find your ideal weapon.

Take note that the weapons and curses you pick up can only be used in the dungeon you're currently in. Upon leaving the dungeon, you will not have access to a weapon.

Obtained Relic

You can also unlock relics from dungeon runs. Relics grant powerful effects, including additional damage, combat buffs, and other special abilities.

Special Progression Rewards

Wool of the Rancher Location

Dungeons are tied to story progression, and you can obtain items from them that are necessary to advance. For example, the Wool of the Rancher in the Woolhaven DLC is required to unlock the ranch.

Dungeons can be unlocked as you progress through the story. The further you get in the game, the more dungeons become available.

Get Charged Shards From Ewefall

Some dungeons are locked behind DLCs, such as Ewefall and The Rot in the Woolhaven DLC. Be sure to purchase these DLCs if you want more dungeons to explore.

Door Requirement

Certain optional dungeons also have specific requirements before they become accessible. To unlock them, make sure to meet their special conditions. For example, to unlock Anura in Hard Mode, you need to sacrifice a level 4 follower.

For Woolhaven Dungeons, you can unlock the hard modes of Ewefall and The Rot by completing the story. This also unlocks Endless Mode, which features tougher enemies.
