BattlerBattler's Bludgeon Regular Weapon Effect:
Spiked and ragged and swung with force.
Flavor Text:
Swung with the spirit of a barbarous battler.
Bane FlailBane Flail Bane Weapon Effect:
Chance of poisoning enemies when attacking.
Flavor Text:
Covered in a slick, iridescent sheen.
Necromantic FlailNecromantic Flail Necromantic Weapon Effect:
Destroy a dead body to release a ghost that will attack nearby enemies.
Flavor Text:
Built of bone stronger than steel.
Vampiric FlailVampiric Flail Vampiric Weapon Effect:
Chance to heal the wielder using the life force of a slain foe.
Flavor Text:
Be wary lest it bite you, too.
Merciless FlailMerciless Flail Merciless Weapon Effect:
Chance to deal a Critical Hit when attacking enemies.

A fearsome weight that rumbles in the quiet...

Collected Fervour will also increase your Divine Inspiration bar.

There are 8 Flail weapons in the game. Each weapon has a different effect, but they all have the same light and heavy attacks.

Woolhaven

The Flail is a new weapon type added in the Woolhaven DLC. The update also included all upgrades tied to the Flail, along its weapon mastery upgrade and its Legendary counterpart.

How to Use Flail Weapons

Long-Range Regular Attack

Flail Light Attack

The Flail is an mid-range weapon which can deal a moderate amount of damage per attack. For its light attack, the Flail is swung forward three times, damaging any opponent along the way.

Heavy Attack

Flail Heavy Attack

Once you obtain the heavy attack upgrade from sermons, the heavy attack for this weapon is unlocked. The Flail is swung forward, latches to a target, and you will charge forward to the target.

You can increase the damage output of the heavy attack once you get Flail Mastery which can also be obtained from sermon upgrades.
