Obtain Materials from Runs

Getting Materials from Runs

You can get various items and materials during runs, which is useful during the early game where you are still sprucing up your base.

During runs, you can destroy objects found across rooms, get resources from chests, and enter rooms where you can harvest materials.

Plant Seeds and Harvest in Farm Plots

Farming

You'll be able to set up your own farm once you unlock Farm Plots which allows you to plant seeds and harvest them for produce. Most seeds are obtained inside rooms, but you can also purchase them from Rakshasa.

Fish at Pilgrim's Passage

Fishing

You can fish at the fishing spot at Pilgrim's Passage near The Fisherman with your fishing pole. Do note that you will not be able to fish during winter.

Produce Resource from Buildings

Resources from Buildings

The Lumberyard, Stone Mine, and Rotburn Mine are unlockable buildings where you can constantly get resources which you need for construction and to survive winter.

You can also build Refineries to get rarer materials, which you will need for most late game buildings.

Get from Cult Members

Items from Followers

You can also get resources from your cult members as they can give you offerings as gifts or even obtain items if you kill them.

Holding sermons and interacting with your members will also give you upgrade materials which you can use to expand your abilities and increase your offenses.

Progress the Story and Defeat Bosses

Defeat Bosses

As you progress throughout the base game and Woolhaven's story, you will get items that you can use during quests.

Defeating bosses in the story will also grant you items which can be used to upgrade your abilities.

Obtain from ??? Spins

Wheel Spins

Once you reach post-game, the ??? NPC will appear at the area north of your base. You can get various rewards from this NPC in the wheel spin mechanic in exchange for God Tears, which you can obtain from Purgatory runs.

Get from Ranch Animals

Ranch Animals

The Woolhaven DLC added the Ranch which allows you to raise animals in your base. You can get food and other materials from the animals you put in your farm.
