How to Use the Rotten Eye of the Witness
Give the Rotten Eye of the Witness to the Stranger in Spore Grotto to get a Woolhaven Relic in the Woolhaven DLC of Cult of the Lamb. Read on to learn how to use the Rotten Eye of the Witness and how to get it.

How to Use the Rotten Eye of the Witness

Exchange for Woolhaven Relics in Spore Grotto

Exchange the Rotten Eye of the Witness
If you have the Rotten Eye of the Witness in your inventory, you may head to Spore Grotto to find the Stranger character.

They are found behind the Tarot Card Shop, which is at the top right corner of the entrance area. They will be hiding behind a mushroom before you interact with them.

You will be given a Woolhaven DLC Relic for each Eye of the Witness that you offer.

List of Stranger's Offered Relics

Relic Charge Time Description
Idol of the Immolated Fragile Replace all hearts with Molten Hearts.
Veil of the Unmoved Fragile Replace all hearts with Frozen Hearts.

Each Eye of the Witness will give you a different Woolhaven Relic. Keep in mind that these Relics are Fragile, which means that they can only be used once.

Plimbo Will Not Take the Rotten Eye of the Witness

Plimbo Rejecting the Rotten Eye

Plimbo takes the Eye of the Witness items that you obtain in the base game. However, if you offer him a Rotten Eye of the Witness, he will not accept it.

How to Get the Rotten Eye of the Witness

Defeat Woolhaven DLC Witness Bosses

Boss Type Dungeon
Witness IposWitness Ipos Miniboss Ewefall
Witness MammonWitness Mammon Miniboss The Rot

You will need to progress through the Woolhaven DLC Story in order to fight the Witness bosses of Ewefall and the Rot.

Once Witness Ipos and Witness Mammon are defeated, they will each yield an Eye of the Witness.
