There is a cave you can reach by taking the tunnel on your left when facing the Spirit Roots safe area. Once inside the cave take the left path and continue downward past the Golem's area to reach the Eyefish spawn area. You’ll need the Lost Spirit Tube, as it’s the only gear that can reach the deep area without hitting critical depth.
The rest of the required fish are easily obtainable within Spirit Roots using the gear you already have. Just make sure to dodge when hunting Sailfish.

All of the fish included in the quest require you to bring your catch to the Golem, except for the Spirit-mutated ones. Try to avoid running out of oxygen or getting attacked, so you don’t lose the fish you’re carrying.

Golem is a hidden NPC found by diving down the Spirit Roots Cave in Spirit Roots. You will need at least the Oxy Tube from Lumi to get there safely.
