Lost Captain's Quest 1
The first quest from the Lost Captain requires you to be at least level 35. Once you reach a point where farming money is not a priority anymore, it is recommended to farm EXP in the starting area, Forgotten Deep.
Though the fish in Forgotten Deep provide slightly less EXP when caught, they are significantly faster to catch. Thus, farm Forgotten Deep fish only when you do not plan on upgrading your equipment soon.

The Lost Captain's second quest involves catching the rarest fish within Ancient Sands. Though it is recommended to use the Lost Spirit Tube and Gun, the Oxy Tube and Magroot Gun from Lumi can also get the job done.

The Lost Captain's third quest involves catching the rarest fish within Spirit Roots. The Lost Spirit Tube and Gun are still recommended as these provide the highest control and damage available at this point in the game.
When having difficulty finding Whales, it is recommended to simply go to another server to check if the Spirit Roots area has any. Keep going through servers until you find enough Whale Meat.

The Lost Captain's fourth and last quest involves catching the rarest fish within the Ocean. It is recommended to stack as much Speed as you can as you will likely spend a lot of time sweeping the Ocean for the required fish
For this quest, the Lost Spirit Tube and Gun are needed to catch Bluefin Tuna, the most difficult fish to catch in the game.
