You can catch the Tambaqui fish in the Sunken Wilds area, the fifth location you can access as you progress the game. Keep your eyes peeled since you'll have to manually search for the Tambaqui to catch it, and always keep tabs on your oxygen level and weight limit to maximize your fishing sessions!

To catch the Tambaqui, we recommend equipping the Lost Spirit Tube and Lost Spirit Gun, as this is the most optimal set that makes catching this fish a whole lot easier! Higher tube and gun tiers are generally better, but this equipment recommendation serves as the baseline to successfully catch the Tambaqui without running out of oxygen mid-catch!
