How to Reroll Race

Open the Race Menu on Top of Your Screen

Click on Races on top of your screen. You must have finished the tutorial first before unlock Race rerolls!
2 Roblox Abyss Reroll Race
On the Races menu, click either the Reroll or Lucky Reroll to reroll your race!

Progress the Bestiary

Roblox Abyss Bestiary

Catch new fish and progress through the Bestiary to earn Star Shards for each unique fish you’ve caught! Speak with Richard in the Forgotten Dome to check the Bestiary and claim your Star Shards.

Unlock Achievements

Roblox Abyss Achievements

Completing achievements also earns you Star Shards, allowing you to get more rerolls. Progress through the game as normal, since all achievements are tied to standard tasks, such as catching fish or cracking geodes.

Claiming the first tier of an achievement unlocks the next tier, increasing the Star Shard rewards. For example, the achievement for playing the game for one hour gives you 5 Star Shards and unlocks the next tier, which requires playing for six hours to earn 20 Star Shards.

Possible Rerolls from Codes and Daily Login

While they’re not available in the game yet, there’s a chance that free rerolls may be obtainable through redeem codes and daily login rewards, since the developers used a similar approach in their other game.

How to Unlock Race Slots

Roblox Abyss Race Slots

Star Shards are also used to unlock Race Slots in Abyss. Earn Star Shards by completing the Bestiary, or purchase them with Robux to unlock more Race Slots for your character.

Lucky rerolls have an increased chance of obtaining Rare and higher-tier races, while lowering the chances of getting Common and Uncommon races. Lucky rerolls are great for aiming for better races, but they cost 450 Star Shards compared to 100 for a standard reroll.

Abyss has a pity system that guarantees a Rare or higher-tier race within 20 rerolls, and a Legendary or higher-tier race within 50 rerolls. It is still unsure how the pity system resets, but we will add that info in the page as soon as we get it!
