Before starting this quest, you should have the Ruined or Banana Tube so that you can reach the Sunken Wilds without running out of oxygen or entering critical depths. The Lost Spirit Tube will also suffice as long as you stay above 600m.
The fish required for the quest are plentiful in the area, especially near the Monkey King's Lair.
Banana is a treasure, similar to Fish Bone and Moss, that may be obtained by catching fish. Banana-mutated fish may be more likely to yield a Banana treasure, so keep an eye out for them.

Sea Turtles are commonly found in the deeper sections of the Sunken Wilds; but be careful of roaming Jaguar Sharks and ensure that you are well equipped.
Banana-mutated Fish are common mutations for Sunken Wild fish. Simply use your radar and track these yellowish mutated fish and catch them.
Coconut Geodes can be obtained from fish found in the Sunken Wilds. If you have enough geodes at the start of the quest, it is recommended that you have them crack while you complete the other objectives!

For King Monkey's third quest, you'll also need Piranha, which may be found in the Sunken Wilds or Ocean. The Grounded mutation is also a new mutation that can be found in the Sunken Wilds; simply look for a fish with a green leaf trail effect.

Along with the similar requirements from the previous quest, King Monkey's fourth quest requires you to collect Toucan Fish, which can be found in the deeper sections of Sunken Wilds and have substantially higher HP, so make sure you have the recommended gear listed above.

Along with the same objectives as the previous quest, King Monkey's fifth objective calls on you to catch Jaguar Fish, which are hostile fish that can be found in the deepest sections of Sunken Wild. Make sure that you bring Oxygen Pods and the appropriate gears to avoid dying.

The sixth objective for the King Monkey involves catching Mosasaurus Meat, one of the rarest fish in Sunken Wilds, which may be found in the area's deeper waters.
When having trouble finding Mosasaurus, it is recommended to switch servers and see whether the Sunken Wilds area has any. It is also recommended that you use the Drop Luck Potion to increase your chances of getting multiple drops.

The final King Monkey objective will be nearly identical to the prior one, but in more quantities. Aside from the Mosasaurus meat, you'll also need its head, which is a more rare drop. You can use the Drop Luck potion to increase the probability of getting a head drop from Mosasaurus!

King Monkey is found beyond the gaps inside the cave where Builder Monkey is. You will need to complete Builder Monkey's questchain to access his location.
Complete Builder Monkey's Quest To Access
To get to the Monkey King's location, first complete Builder Monkey's quests to build the bridge. Once you've completed the quests, a short scene will play showing a log bridge that will allow you to cross the pit. Be careful not to fall, as this will result in death immediately.

After fulfilling all of King Monkey's quests, you'll obtain access to a secret room where you can buy the Wild Tube and Wild Gun. The room is located in the same area as the King Monkey, directly behind the huge door.
