Geodes can be found randomly through fishing, then opened through Virelia in the starting island of Abyss. Learn more about Geodes, how to get them, and how to crack Geodes with this guide!

Found Randomly Through Fishing

Opening Random Geodes
As you fish, a treasure chest icon can randomly appear on the right side of the screen. You will need to hover over the icon long enough to obtain the Geode.

Make sure not to catch the fish too fast, as this can lose the Geode.

How to Crack Geodes

Crack Geodes With Virelia

Virelia Location
Crack Geodes by interacting with Virelia and select the Open Artifacts options. Each Geode costs money and some time to actually open.

Once a Geode has been cracked, you can obtain an Artifact by speaking to Virelia again. Virelia can be found in the starting Island, near the Kraken.
