The Anglerfish, thanks to its bioluminescent appendage, can provide light when exploring dark areas, allowing you to see both the surroundings and catchable fish much better.

Apart from that, there is a sizeable chance of catching twice as much fish when you use the Anglerfish, and paired with its cash increase, you'll be able to afford better equipment in no time!

Should I Use Anglerfish?

Yes. The Anglerfish is a great race to use, especially in the early stages of the game, thanks to its relatively high reroll success rate. The Anglerfish will make for a much easier time catching fish and stacking up on cash.

This way, you will be able to afford better guns for going up against the more difficult fishes, and better tubes for those long, deepwater explorations!

How to Get Anglerfish

Pull for Races

Roll for Races

To get the Anglerfish race, you must pull for it in the Races screen. One pull costs 100 Star Shards, and a Lucky Pull costs 450 Star Shards.

There is a 5% chance to acquire the Anglerfish race when pulling. However, going for Lucky Pulls may increase its drop rate.
