You can catch the Trout fish in the Sunken Wilds area, the fifth location you can access as you progress the game. Keep your eyes peeled since you'll have to manually search for the Trout to catch it, and always keep tabs on your oxygen level and weight limit to maximize your fishing sessions!
How to Catch the Trout
Equip the Lost Spirit Tube and Lost Spirit Gun

To catch the Trout, we recommend equipping the Lost Spirit Tube and Lost Spirit Gun, as this is the most optimal set that makes catching this fish a whole lot easier! Higher tube and gun tiers are generally better, but this equipment recommendation serves as the baseline to successfully catch the Trout without running out of oxygen mid-catch!
Too Heavy or Strong to Catch?
If you get a prompt that prevents you from catching Trout with your gun, upgrade your tube or gun to a higher rarity!
If a fish's weight exceeds your current limit, upgrade your tube. If the fish is too strong, upgrade your gun or equip more powerful artifacts.
